Week of 10/30/2006
Sunday followed Saturday with another mediocre kind of 3-3. Chiefs/Rams covered the over, Dolphins pulled off a huge upset, aleays take when the records on the line, and the Lions seem to have turned a corner but is it enough to salvage the seson. On the downside, the Chargers couldn't cover a big number, Steelers have thrown this season away, and Patriots just plain turned it over all second half. For the year, 21-10 on the NFL.
Saturday was a mediocre 3 - 3 for the capper winning with Hawaii, BYU, Wisconsin, covering sizable spreads. Losers were Clemson, TCU and Pitt.
CapperMike is 19-12 on his collegefootball picks for the year.
The Thursday Night pick was WVU and they didn;t get it done. Turnovers, injuries, defense and UL all contributed to a long night for the Mountaineers.
The Monday night game was like stealing money for CapperMike, all you needed to do was determine who the better team was and go with them. In This instance, the Patriots were clearly superior and only giving the Vikes one point. Pick the better team in a pick'em situation and you'll usually win, that's what CapperMike did for a 100 units. In NFL action for the year Capper Mike is 19-6 up 1300 Units.
Week of 10/23/2006
Sunday Capper Mike went 4-2, winning with the over in the Bears/SF contest, Atlanta with 3.5, Jacksonville plus the 7, and the under in the Jet/Browns game. The Capper came up short in with Tampa Bay plus the 9 and the under in the Broncos/Colts game as the defenses went to bed in the second half of an exciting game. He is now 18-6 in NFL action this year, up 1200 units.
Saturday, Capper Mike went 5-1 on his 6 Pack Special, winners were North Carolina, covering as an underdog, Ohio State blowing out and shutting out Minnesota, BYU Handled Air Force with ease, TCU Handled Wyoming with relative ease and LA Monroe covered the huge 36 point spread against Arkansas. The only slip up of the day was the Wisconsin pick against Illini and they were in jeopardy of losing the game straight up. Capper Mike is now 16-8 in College Football action on the year, up 800 units.
Friday's pick was Tulsa -14.5. Unfortunately Tulsa dug an early hole in rthe second quarter and was unable to overcome mistakes to cover the points spread. This drops Cappermike to 11-7 on the year, up 400 units.
Thursday's pick was Clemson -4.5. This one wasn't much of a game as Clemson decided not to show up on offense. After jumping out 7 nothing, VT pretty much controlled the rest of the game.
Week of 10/16/2006
Sunday's NFL action came in at 4-2-1, winning with Denver, Jets and the over, and KC. The Capper fell short on the over in the Carolina game and Washington to cover. Overall Capper Mike is 14-4 with his NFL picks this year. Capper Mie is currently analyzing next week's College Football and NFL slates.
In Saturday's action Capper Mike went 1-2, bringing his weekly College Football record to 3 and 2 breaking a 12 pick wining streak. Cal struggled but won against Washington and BYU absolutely destroyed UNLV. UAB was beaten by Marshall in a a revenge game.
Friday night was another impressive win, as WVU covered versus UConn although the outcome was in doubt until late in the fourth quarter. Capper Mike is on an impressive 11 win streak. Mike has 3 picks ready for action in today's games.
Thursday Night Capper Mike had an easy go of it as Virginia easily handled North Carolina 23-0. Central Michigan again was an easy win over Bowling Green. Cappermike had an impressive week going 8-3 in the college games and following that up with an amazing 8-0 in the NFL games!!
